The Nappy Bank

Through Making-A-Difference NPC, which I cofounded in 2024 after twenty years building a digital agency, I'm helping build South Africa's first permanent dignity utility — a national system where vetted care facilities looking after vulnerable infants, elderly people, and people with disabilities can access essential nappies and feminine hygiene products every month, at zero cost.

We keep our focus deliberately narrow. No middlemen, full transparency, real impact: over 66,000 dignity units delivered to 13 vetted facilities across Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal in our first year alone.

The Dignity Run

One of several ways the Nappy Bank gets stocked. The Dignity Run turns events, schools, and corporate gatherings that are already happening into on-the-day donation drives — no new event to organise, no disruption to what was already planned. Runners, students, or staff simply bring a pack alongside whatever they were already doing.

It's a small ask with a real result: every pack goes straight into the Nappy Bank, reaching a facility within days.
